A series of cylinders with which I explored how the use of a single glaze can appear on varying forms. Shown in use as centerpieces on my table.

Buddha Self Portrait
Tasked with sculpting a self-portrait, I imagined myself as a Buddhist monk hatching in a lotus-like egg. This is a reminder to me that enlightenment and rebirth are available to everyone.

Seasons of mugs
This series of mugs was inspired by my first fall hike before living in Boston. It made me think about the four seasons and a bird's lifecycle within them. I threw these cylinders, molded hand grips, carved in a wooden grain texture, and made attachments for the branch and birds.
